1. About cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. We also use related technologies — local storage, session storage and similar identifiers — which are covered by this policy in the same way as cookies.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 ("PECR"), as informed by ICO guidance, we may set strictly necessary cookies without consent. All other cookies are set only after you have given consent through our cookie banner.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies in four categories:
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Maintain session, remember your cart contents, secure form submissions (CSRF), record your cookie-consent choice itself. | Not required (Reg. 6(4)(b) PECR) |
| Functionality | Remember your language, region, sign-in state and other preferences. | Required |
| Performance / analytics | Aggregate, pseudonymised statistics on how visitors use the site so we can improve it. | Required |
| Marketing | Measure the effectiveness of campaigns; show relevant content on third-party platforms. | Required |
3. Cookies set by this website
The following cookies and local-storage entries may be set, depending on your consent choices:
| Name | Category | Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
rb_cart | Strictly necessary | localStorage | Items currently in your shopping basket | Until cleared |
rb_lang | Strictly necessary | localStorage | Selected interface language | Until cleared |
rb_consent | Strictly necessary | localStorage | Record of your cookie-consent decision | 12 months |
rb_admin_session | Strictly necessary (admin only) | Cookie (HttpOnly) | Authenticated admin session | 8 hours |
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If we add any in future we will update this policy and request fresh consent through the banner.
4. Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
- Click Cookie settings to reopen the consent banner.
- Clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
- Use your browser's "do not track" or private-browsing modes.
If you reject non-essential cookies, the site will continue to work but some preferences (such as language) may not be remembered between visits.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. See the help pages for your browser:
6. More information
