Consumer Rights Act 2015

Terms of Service

Effective: 11 May 2026 · Last updated: 11 May 2026 · Version 1.0

Legal text is binding in English. Translations are provided as non-binding overviews for convenience only.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rheinbridge website at www.rheinbridge.com and any orders you place through it. They form a legally binding contract between you and Rheinbridge Co., Ltd. Please read them carefully before placing an order. You should print or save a copy for your records.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under English law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

2. About us

RHEINBRIDGE CO., LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17163216), with registered office at 7 Copperfield Road, Coventry, West Midlands, England, CV2 4AQ. For full company information see our Legal Notice.

3. Eligibility

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. By placing an order you confirm that this is the case.

4. Accounts

You may purchase as a guest or by creating a Rheinbridge account. If you create an account you must keep your password secure and notify us immediately at info@rheinbridge.com if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

5. Products, descriptions and prices

We take reasonable care to describe products and to display colours and dimensions accurately. Minor variations may occur, in particular because of differences in display calibration; these do not affect your statutory rights.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Where the price displayed is exclusive of VAT, the inclusive price will be shown at checkout. Delivery charges, if any, are calculated and disclosed at checkout before you complete payment.

If a product is mispriced because of a manifest error we may decline to accept your order. We will tell you about the error before processing the order and you may proceed at the correct price or cancel.

6. Order acceptance

The display of products on the site is an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy on these Terms. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order-acceptance email confirming dispatch. If we are unable to accept your order we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

7. Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by regulated payment-service providers; we never store full card numbers on our own systems. By submitting an order you authorise us (or our processor) to charge the total amount to the payment method you select.

8. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Where you have asked us to deliver by a specific date, that date is the agreed delivery date; otherwise we will deliver within 30 days of order acceptance, as required by section 28 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you give us.

If a delivery is delayed beyond the agreed date, you may give us a new reasonable deadline. If we miss that deadline you may end the contract and obtain a full refund.

9. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Full instructions, the model cancellation form, and the exceptions to this right are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

10. Faulty or misdescribed goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If goods do not meet these standards you have the following remedies, in addition to your right to cancel:

  • Short-term right to reject — within 30 days of delivery, you may reject the goods and receive a full refund.
  • Right to repair or replacement — within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.
  • Final right to reject, or price reduction — if a single repair or replacement fails to remedy the fault.

These remedies are available free of charge for the goods themselves and for reasonable return costs.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; any breach of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are responsible for losses that you suffer as a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, or for losses incurred in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession.

12. Events outside our control

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms that is due to an event outside our reasonable control (a "Force Majeure Event"). If a Force Majeure Event affects performance we will notify you and the time for performance will be extended; if it continues for more than 30 days either of us may end the contract and you will receive a refund for any goods not delivered.

13. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions and discount codes are subject to the specific terms communicated at the time of issue, including expiry dates, eligible products and minimum spend. They cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined with other offers unless we expressly state otherwise.

14. Acceptable use of the website

You must not use the website in any way that breaches applicable law or that interferes with the operation of the site or other users' use of it. You must not introduce malicious software, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or scrape content other than as expressly permitted.

15. Intellectual property

All intellectual-property rights in the website, including in text, images, the Rheinbridge name and logo, are owned by or licensed to Rheinbridge Co., Ltd. You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the site for your own personal use, subject to these Terms. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

16. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR.

17. Changes to these terms

We may change these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place that order. We will publish material changes on the website at least 14 days before they take effect.

18. Complaints

If you have a complaint please contact us at info@rheinbridge.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot resolve it, you may refer the dispute to a certified Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider; details will be provided at the relevant time.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom retain the right to bring proceedings in their local courts.

20. Severance and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if that is not possible, severed; the remainder will continue in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your purchases.

Note: These Terms are prepared in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Sale of Goods (Amendment) Act 1995. They are provided as a starting framework and are pending review by a qualified UK solicitor before formal launch.
