Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

Returns & Refunds Policy

Effective: 11 May 2026 · Last updated: 11 May 2026 · Version 1.0

Legal text is binding in English. Translations are provided as non-binding overviews for convenience only.

1. Your 14-day right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days, without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

The 14-day period starts the day after the day on which you, or someone you nominate (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods. Where your order is delivered in multiple parts, the period starts the day after you receive the last item.

2. How to cancel

To exercise your right to cancel you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the 14-day period ends. You can:

  • Email info@rheinbridge.com with your order number and a short statement that you are cancelling.
  • Write to Rheinbridge Co., Ltd, 7 Copperfield Road, Coventry, West Midlands, England, CV2 4AQ.
  • Use the model cancellation form set out in section 7 below.

To meet the cancellation deadline it is sufficient to send the communication before the 14-day period expires.

3. Returning the goods

You must send the goods back to us, or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you notified us of your cancellation. The deadline is met if you send the goods before this 14-day period expires.

Return address: Rheinbridge Returns, 7 Copperfield Road, Coventry, West Midlands, England, CV2 4AQ, United Kingdom.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the goods are faulty, misdescribed, or we agreed to bear the cost. We recommend using a trackable service, as we cannot accept liability for items that do not reach us. You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.

4. Refunds

If you cancel within the 14-day period and return the goods to us, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (but not any extra cost arising from your choice of a more expensive delivery method).

We will make the refund without undue delay, and not later than:

  • 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you; or
  • 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees because of the refund.

We may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you (handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, as you would in a shop).

5. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

If your goods are faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in addition to (and are separate from) your right to cancel:

  • Within 30 days of delivery, you may reject the goods for a full refund (short-term right to reject).
  • After 30 days and up to 6 months, you may ask for a free repair or replacement; if a single repair or replacement fails, you may claim a refund or price reduction.
  • After 6 months, similar remedies may be available but you may be asked to demonstrate that the fault was present at the time of delivery.

For faulty goods, we will bear the reasonable cost of return. Please contact info@rheinbridge.com with photographs and a description of the fault and we will arrange this with you.

6. Exceptions to the right to cancel

Under regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
  • Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons, once unsealed after delivery;
  • Sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software, once unsealed after delivery;
  • Goods inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

These exceptions do not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.

7. Model cancellation form

You may, but do not have to, use the following form to cancel your contract. If you wish to use this form, please complete and return it to info@rheinbridge.com.
